Celia is a graphic designer at Voilà:. She enjoys the process of taking an idea and turning it into a beautiful and effective story. She analyzes as much as she creates, adopting a big picture approach as she searches for the details that matter.
With a degree in agronomy and sustainable development, Celia has developed a particular interest in food and environmental issues. It was at WWF-France that she opened her eyes to the multi-layered and interdependent nature of each of these issues and the importance of effective communication. She is now convinced that, sometimes, a beautiful and clear visual is all it takes to better understand the world around us and spark awareness.
Celia started her career as a freelance graphic designer. She was able to work with a wide variety of actors, including private sector and associations, companies and individuals. It was when she met the founder of a small children’s publishing house that she discovered a fondness for illustration. Since then, their collaboration has never stopped and has given birth to a beautiful collection of books for children.
When she arrived in Montreal, Celia was eager to do graphic design that served a purpose. She discovered the social circus association Cirque Hors Piste, with whom she has been working for a long time, accompanying them on projects in many forms.
Joining Voilà: allowed her to merge the two worlds that drive her. Celia now puts her joy of graphic design to serve the subjects that move her and challenge her on a daily basis.
